Tir-Kai Tales takes it’s root from the perspectives of stunt performers and equestrians. They share so much in common in terms of the mental and physical discipline required, as well as the focus to endure hardships and setbacks, all while holding fast to the joy of the journey.

Jacquie Schmidt is a SAG stunt actor, voice actor and competitive USEA equestrian. Originally from Kentucky, she grew up on a small horse farm and became a competitive gymnast in Cincinnati. Gymnastics instilled in her the love of performing, which transformed into ballet training with the Cincinnati Ballet. Through ballet she began training with the SAFD and became certified in stage combat and sword work. All while training in the performing arts, Jacquie achieved her B.S. in Biology and M.A. in Secondary Education, becoming a science teacher and published biologist in evolutionary ecology. Following her love of telling stories through physical movement, Jacquie moved to Orlando, Florida to become a dancer and stunt actress at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. Always wanting to expand her knowledge in her craft, she continues to train in multiple aspects of stunt work and acting. As a competitive equestrian in the discipline of eventing, she partners with her beloved Swedish Warmblood mare April Z. She is also a happy doggie mom to a wonderful Newfie/Pyrenees mix named Koa. Jacquie currently lives in Atlanta, GA pursing her dreams in the film/tv industry.
